Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems using Rockwell Automation platforms. Program and troubleshoot ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and MicroLogix controllers. Develop and modify FactoryTalk View SE/ME applications. Configure and troubleshoot PowerFlex drives, industrial networks, and communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and DeviceNet. Perform system commissioning, startup, FAT, SAT, and on-site troubleshooting. Prepare technical documentation including functional specifications, I/O lists, network architecture, and test reports. Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and project teams. Participate in automation upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects. Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and customer requirements. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for project execution. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related Engineering discipline. 25 years of experience in industrial automation with strong exposure to Rockwell Automation systems. Hands-on experience with Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View, RSLinx, and PowerFlex drives. Strong understanding of industrial communication networks and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience in manufacturing industries such as Steel, Tyre, Metals, Power, or Process Plants. Knowledge of safety PLCs, motion control systems, and industrial cybersecurity is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for site commissioning and customer support.
