About the role
You are being sought after by IBH Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., a company based in Gurgaon & Delhi NCR, to take on the role of a Production & Operations Head for their Container & Tanker Fabrication Division. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all manufacturing operations, production planning, fabrication processes, quality control, resource management, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Translate mechanical engineer designs into precise 2D and 3D shop drawings for manufacturing, ensuring adherence to safety standards and structural load limits. - Lead production and fabrication operations for various products including Fuel Tankers, Water Tankers, Container Bodies, Trailers, Tippers, Special Purpose Vehicle Bodies. - Generate 2D and 3D General Arrangement (GA) and detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards like ASME BPVC and API 650. - Perform plate developments, material take-offs, bill of materials generation, detailing & symboling, and structural integration. - Collaborate with workshop, quality control, and inspection teams to address fabrication issues and ensure compliance with standards and policies. - Monitor fabrication activities, drive productivity improvement, manage manpower, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, drive process improvement initiatives, and monitor operational efficiency. Required Qualifications: - Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline. Experience Required: - 45 years of experience in Tanker Manufacturing, Container Fabrication, Trailer Manufacturing, Heavy Fabrication, Commercial Vehicle Body Building, and Manufacturing Operations.
