IT System Analyst

Job Title: Systems Analyst 4 (10+ Years Experience) Location: Across India, Any Mastek office nearby About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Systems Analyst to join their Web Technology team . This is a senior bridge role between business stakeholders and the technology team. You will facilitate requirement sessions, translate complex business needs into clear Agile/Scrum user stories, manage the product backlog, and support end-to-end delivery and validation of new features for client s institutional financial services portal. The role demands strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to understand system architecture well enough to triage issues, analyze logs, and support QA/validation. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering sessions with business partners for new features and enhancements. Articulate business requirements into well-defined Agile/Scrum stories with clear business value and acceptance criteria. Manage product backlog, define Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and prioritize features. Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Analyze end-to-end system workflows, read/analyze code and logs for defect triage and root cause analysis. Support QA and validation efforts throughout the delivery lifecycle. Work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, global Agile/DevOps environment. Mentor junior systems analysts and contribute to improving systems analysis practices. Conduct trade-off discussions with business partners and escalate issues appropriately. The Expertise We re Looking For Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, IT, or a related field. 10+ years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in technology projects. Passion for technology with the ability to navigate complex and rapidly changing environments. Strong curiosity and a questioning mindset ( Whyand What if). Self-starter who challenges the status quo and focuses on delivering real customer value. The Skills You Bring Expert in breaking down complex features into clear user stories and managing product backlogs. Strong experience with Jira (Jira Align preferred) and Confluence for requirements and documentation. Solid understanding of microservice architectures , HTTP-based APIs, networking, and how the internet works. Good knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, and similar tools). Ability to write and analyze SQL queries (experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL is highly desirable). Experience in test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Playwright, RestAssured, etc.) added advantage. Knowledge of accessibility testing added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders. Strong facilitation, relationship management, and collaboration skills.
