About the role
As a Backend Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services using Java and cloud technologies. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and unit test high-quality, testable code using Java and industry-standard practices. - Integrate data from various backend services and databases. - Analyze, design, and develop web applications, building and releasing updates on schedule. - Lead code reviews and improve code management procedures across the team. - Translate concepts into well-authored code, articulating design impacts and interdependencies. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 6+ years of experience developing software and enterprise applications. - Expertise in object-oriented design and development using Java. - Proficiency with REST, JSON, and XML technologies. - Hands-on experience with AWS or other Cloud Infrastructure. - Experience with NoSQL and Relational databases. - Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions under tight schedules. - Strong grasp of security principles as they apply to web applications. - Familiarity with HTTP/S and web-based application architecture.
