About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for extending an existing Next.js/React app by adding new features, updating UI states, and refactoring components. Your tasks will also include building sleek and accessible UI/UX using Tailwind/ShadCN or similar tools, integrating Supabase authentication, database, and storage, as well as connecting backend APIs to the client. Additionally, you will be shipping UI for AI agent clients, such as chat interfaces, task runs, artifacts viewer, and logs. Daily usage of AI coding tools like v0/Vo, Lovable, and Claude Code/Cursor will be essential to speed up delivery. You will own small features from end-to-end, including specifications, PRD-lite, implementation, testing, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Extend an existing Next.js/React app with new features, UI states, and component refactors - Build sleek and accessible UI/UX using Tailwind/ShadCN or similar tools - Integrate Supabase auth, DB, and storage; wire backend APIs to the client - Ship UI for AI agent clients, including chat interfaces, task runs, artifacts viewer, and logs - Use AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery - Own small features end-to-end, including specifications, PRD-lite, implementation, testing, and documentation Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, hooks, and server actions/Route Handlers - Strong UI thinking skills, including handling empty states, loading, errors, and responsive behavior - Ability to convert Figma/wireframes into pixel-tight components quickly - Comfortable reading API documentation and integrating REST/GraphQL - Experience in using AI development tools effectively, not limited to autocomplete - Bonus: Familiarity with Supabase, Zod/React Hook Form, TanStack Query, OpenAI/Claude APIs About the Company: Icecreamlabs is an AI venture studio focused on building AI-first startups that address complex enterprise challenges.
