About the role
ICF is a global consulting and technology services provider supporting government and commercial clients across energy, climate, sustainability, infrastructure, and policy domains. ICFs energy transition work focuses on practical, evidence-based solutions that help clients design, implement, and scale clean energy programs. Job Description: Develop and manage GIS databases. • Perform spatial analysis and mapping. • Prepare climate risk, vulnerability and land-use maps. • Integrate remote sensing and geospatial datasets. • Develop web-GIS dashboards and decision-support tools. • Analyse demographic, infrastructure and environmental datasets. • Support emissions and climate analytics. • Establish data quality standards. • Develop metadata and data governance protocols. • Produce thematic maps and visualisations. • Support scenario modelling and forecasting. • Train government officials on GIS applications. • Coordinate with sector specialists. • Prepare technical reports and spatial outputs. • Support monitoring dashboards. Skills and Abilities: Master's in GIS, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geography, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Data Science or related. Preferred: GIS certification. 5–10 years in GIS, remote sensing, spatial analytics and urban/climate data systems.
