Network Associate

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Associate with hands-on experience in the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing network infrastructure, supporting internal teams and external clients, and ensuring uninterrupted network services. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls). Collaborate with telecom service providers for circuit provisioning, fault resolution, and upgrades. Configure and manage network devices following standard protocols. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate unresolved issues. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and asset inventories. Support implementation of network projects, migrations, and capacity planning. Ensure compliance with security standards and assist in periodic audits. Work closely with cross-functional teams (NOC, IT, VoIP, Infrastructure) to support operations. Required Skills Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of networking experience, preferably in telecom or ISP environments. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs. Familiarity with telecom hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.). Experience working with ISPs, telecom carriers, or enterprise voice/data networks. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Willingness to work in rotational shifts (if required). Preferred Certifications (Good to Have): CCNA / JNCIA / CompTIA Network+ Exposure to SD-WAN, VoIP, or network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
