About the role
As an FEA Analyst at Ideametrics, your primary role will involve performing FEA analysis for process equipment. You will also be responsible for creating tools for routine FEA analysis, including the automation of work processes. It is essential that you have knowledge of standards such as ASME, PD 5500, AD 2000, EN, etc. Additionally, you will contribute to the company's growth by developing software tools for internal processes and analysis types that meet codal requirements. In terms of qualifications, you should hold a UG degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience at Ideametrics. A PG degree in M Tech Design Engineering or a Doctorate in Mechanical or FEA is preferred. Your responsibilities as an FEA Analyst at Ideametrics will include: - Working with technical team heads and management to create process automation for routine analysis types. - Performing analysis for various process equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, etc. - Creating software tools for routine analysis jobs in coordination with the management team. - Working on Ansys Workbench or Ansys Classic APDL. - Developing scripts using APDL coding. - Communicating effectively both internally with team members and externally with clients. - Demonstrating a strong background in mechanics, linear and non-linear finite element analysis procedures, and methods using ANSYS. - Creating software packages using APDL language, C#.net, or Python for existing processes at Ideametrics. - Generating 3D models in Solidworks, Solid Edge, and Spaceclaim software. - Understanding and implementing codes through finite element analysis. - Leading multiple projects simultaneously, including small cross-functional projects. - Ensuring compliance with organizational HR policies and procedures.
