Role & responsibilities Position : Mechanical Draftsmen (FMCG)- for Vadodara Years of Exp – 3 to 8 years Any domain specification: Plant Engineering / FMCG Qualification Criteria: Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Mandatory Skills: Hands on experience in preparing PFDs and P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D is essential and a must. Exposure to creating Smart/Intelligent P&IDs using software such as Aveva, COMOS, or SPPID will be an added advantage , AutoCAD Plant 3D, Aveva, COMOS, or SPPID Job Description- Draftsmen (FMCG) Draftsmen JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Draughtsman/Designer to join our Plant Engineering team. The role primarily involves the preparation and development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD Plant 3D. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating accurate engineering drawings and documentation that support various phases of process and piping design projects. Key responsibilities include the preparation of essential engineering deliverables such as Piping Line Lists, Tiein Point Lists, and other associated documents. The role requires regular coordination and communication with both onsite and offshore project teams to ensure timely execution of project tasks and adherence to quality standards. In some cases, the candidate may be required to travel to client locations for gathering design inputs, site measurements, or clarifications necessary for completing design deliverables. This position demands a high level of precision, a strong understanding of P&ID markups, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Qualification A Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a reputed Polytechnic institute with a strong academic background is required. Skills Required Handson experience in preparing PFDs and P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D is essential and a must.
