About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by developing and implementing automated testing frameworks. Your primary focus will be on designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Collaborate with development teams to design test strategies for new features and ensure quality from the outset. - Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure the robustness and scalability of the system. - Identify, report, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution. - Optimize automation scripts and tools for maximum efficiency and performance. - Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in QA automation. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, etc.). - Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting. - Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like Jenkins. - Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
