Senior Production Engineer

As a Senior Production Engineer Core Banking (CBS) at our Navi Mumbai Airoli Processing Centre, your role involves managing and supporting Core Banking applications, particularly TCS BaNCS, to ensure high availability and smooth operations in a 24x7 banking environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to address issues, handle releases, and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide end-to-end production support for Core Banking applications, integrations, and mobile platforms. - Manage TCS BaNCS CBS, focusing on Liabilities / Payments modules. - Offer L1 & L2 support, including EOD/BOD operations. - Monitor production systems, handle alerts, and proactively resolve issues. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and escalate critical incidents. - Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external system providers. - Oversee code migration, release management, and change management activities. - Prepare and update production support documentation and recovery procedures. - Assist in application implementation, deployment, upgrades, and testing. - Ensure adherence to ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Skills & Competencies: - Strong Retail & Corporate Banking functional knowledge. - Hands-on experience with TCS BaNCS or similar Core Banking products. - Proficiency in CBS Liabilities / Payments Module. - Technical skills in PL/SQL, COBOL, UNIX, Java. - Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a 24x7 production support environment. Education Qualification: - Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). - Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA). With 510 years of experience in the Banking domain, including a minimum of 3 years in Core Banking implementation/production support, you are well-equipped to excel in this role.
