Junior QA Engineer

Job Description: Junior QA Engineer Experience: 2 2.5 Years Location: Mumbai (Work From Office) About the Role We're looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-2.5 years of experience to join our team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through both manual and automation testing. You'll work closely with developers to identify bugs, test complex features, and ensure our product meets high-quality standards before reaching users. What You'll DoTesting & Quality Assurance Create test plans and test strategies for complex features (login systems, payment flows, user authentication)Perform manual testing to find bugs before users discover themConduct automation testing using modern tools to reduce repetitive workTest APIs and backend services to ensure components communicate correctlyValidate data in databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) to confirm information is saved accuratelyPerform negative testing (testing with invalid data) to ensure the system handles errors safelyDo exploratory testing to find unexpected bugs in edge casesAutomation & Technical Work Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright/CypressAutomate API tests using Postman + Newman or RestAssured/SupertestWrite reusable code (page objects, helper utilities) to make testing fasterIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI)Test authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, session management, SSO)Mock third-party services for testing using WireMock/MSWCollaboration & Communication Report bugs clearly to developers with steps to reproduceWork with the tech team to understand feature requirementsParticipate in testing planning discussionsDocument test results and quality issuesMust-Have Skills 2-2.5 years of hands-on QA/testing experienceExperience in both manual testing AND automation testingAPI Testing: Proficient with Postman (or similar tool)Automation: Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, or SeleniumDatabase: Can write queries for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQLAuthentication Testing: Experience testing login systems (tokens, sessions, OAuth)CI/CD: Basic knowledge of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or JenkinsKnowledge of RedisExperience with OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, PKCE authentication flowsPay: 400,000.00 - 500,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Job Description: Junior QA Engineer Experience: 2 2.5 Years Location: Mumbai (Work From Office) About the Role We're looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-2.5 years of experience to join our team.
