Job Title: Senior Shopify Developer Experience: 5+ Years (Mandatory) Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Remote (No Location Constraint) Shift: 8 Hours/Day (7pm - 11pm with Minimum 4 Hours Overlap with Client Working Hours , Monday to Friday) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Position Overview: Idyaite Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Consultant - Senior Shopify Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience to design, develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate should have expertise in custom Shopify development, API integrations, performance optimization, and scalable e-commerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for global clients. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce websites. Build custom themes, storefront features, and reusable components using Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Shopify Online Store 2.0. Develop custom functionality using Shopify APIs (GraphQL, REST, AJAX), Metafields, Metaobjects, Shopify Functions, and Theme/App Extensions. Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, ERP/CRM systems, and configure checkout, shipping, tax, payment, subscriptions, and multi-market functionality. Perform testing, deployments, troubleshooting, website migrations, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce solutions. Desired Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional Shopify development experience (Mandatory). Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, Shopify Plus, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Shopify Online Store 2.0, and responsive web development. Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, AJAX API, and secure third-party integrations. Hands-on experience with Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Metafields, Metaobjects, and custom Shopify app development. Experience with Git, Shopify CLI, performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, Technical SEO, and CRO best practices. Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js/Hydrogen, Google Analytics, GTM, or Klaviyo is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
