Ensure the agreed architecture is implemented. Work closely with multiple application and platform heads. Work closely with Enterprise Architects. Work closely with multiple Agile teams for ensuring that the solution is implemented correctly. Work closely with Release management and deployment management. Keep abreast of technology standards and industry trends Essential Skills: Good Analytical and Problem-Solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Hands on experience in RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, RPG/400 and CL/400 Proficiency to create and use database files - PF and LF more appropriately Exposure to Menu Screen Design SDA and Printer File layout RLU Capable of writing and analyzing RPGLE Free and Fixed format programs Good insight on ILE concepts - Activation groups, Modularity, Procedures and Service Programs Knowledge in SQL query building and DB2 Experience in using IBM I Commands and APIs Ability to handle FTP and Secure FTP file transmission protocols within iSeries Experience in using Change Implementation tool preferably THENON Understanding on User hooks of IBM I product Good to have knowledge in Webservice (SOAP, REST) method of data communication Preferably good to have experience in handling Insurance business application Experience in Agile way of working Exposure to JIRA and Service Now platforms Desirable Skills: 1.
