Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and other mainframe technologies 3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting 4. Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms (z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, IBM System z) Responsabilit s: Experience in recent industry trends, software development methodologies (both Waterfall and Agile) and several distributed technology stacks. Demonstrated ability to create system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated skills in exercising initiative, good judgment, and making sound technical decisions Ability to propose and assess the appropriateness and quality of solutions for moderate to complex solutions Skilled in leading, guiding, mentoring, and influencing design and architectural discussions Experience with debugging tools Compuware Abend-Aid, both batch and CICS Attend stand-up meetings and provide updates Provide support to delivery for technical issues, escalations and reviews and to help in deploying in a customer environment. Create documentation of operational tasks, procedures and automated processes.
