Technical design, development and support related to Cognos BI solutions Architect, design, Develop, deploy Bi application. User requirement analysis, Proof of concept, preparing and modeling reporting and BI framework Design, architect Cognos report Framework, Model Analysis, Design, Testing, documenting and maintaining versions using VSS Tool Architecting Solutions for Project and defining approach and ensuring the delivery with Quality, BI Dashboard, Metadata and Report Solutions, design dashboards, Cubes, Migration, database programming, schema design Write Unix/Linux and shell scripts Code promotion, version control, and QA procedures. Perform Unit testing and fix bugs reported by QE and UAT users. Support post production bugs reported by business users. Develop and maintain functional automation tests cases (end to end) in the project. Any other identified tasks required by project. Raising defects in the application to the appropriate team members. Maintain build and deploy process. Technologies Used: Cognos, Impromptu, oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Cognos framework Educational Requirement: Educational prerequisite for Software developer position is a Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related field of study with 2 plus years of relevant experience in above mentioned technologies. Must have experience with detailed working knowledge of a System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and industry best practices. Full time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, Salary 90,000.00 per year.
