About the role
As a NoSQL DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of Kafka, Elastic search, and MongoDB clusters. Your role will involve monitoring and troubleshooting issues in these clusters, optimizing them for performance and scalability, and implementing data backup and recovery strategies for MongoDB. You will also be required to patch servers, scale out Kafka and Elastic search clusters, and run predefined scripts. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and manage Kafka cluster, Elastic search cluster, and MongoDB database - Monitor and troubleshoot issues in Kafka cluster, Elastic search cluster, and MongoDB - Optimize Kafka, Elastic search, and MongoDB for performance and scalability - Implement data backup and recovery strategies for MongoDB - Patch servers to scale out Kafka and Elastic search clusters and run predefined scripts - Analyze execution plans and adjust database configuration parameters - Implement and maintain database security measures - Diagnose and resolve database-related issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree with 4-7 years of professional experience - Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices - Proficiency in data querying and manipulation - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to effectively communicate internally and with customers The company values technical expertise, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills for successful management of database systems.
