About the role
Requirements Role: MS Fabric Architect CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: · MS Fabric Solutions Architect will take the ownership of the strategic solution architecting and delivery including designing, refining, and uplifting data architecture to meet the expectation of clients. · Provide direction on adoption of Cloud technologies and industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modelling. · Be a 'champion' for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the MS Fabric platform. · Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s). · He/ She will also be responsible for preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step into different roles depending on the size and scope of the project. · Provide thought leadership on how clients can achieve their data strategies and objectives. · Ability to analyse complex situations and to derive workable actions and ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm. · Lead and Architect migration of enterprise on-prem data environment to MS Fabric with performance and reliability. · Assess and understand the existing EDW workloads and reporting/ analytics to architect value / outcome-based target state architecture and roadmap for execution. · Lead cross-functional, cross-organisation initiatives that drive innovative solutions on MS Fabric. · Deliver presentations to internal & external audiences. · Drive opportunity pursuits for Cloud Data Migration and Data Modernization initiatives. · Mentor and lead other Data Architects/ Solution architects and infuse best practices across a broader Data & AI community. · Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritisation and building technical champions. · Contribute to MS Fabric technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. · Ability to understand and articulate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences. · Stakeholder management and communication skills, including prioritising, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building. · Experiences with design, develop, and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions using MS Fabric for large-scale data processing and data integration projects. · Build and optimize data ingestion processes from various sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability. · Perform data transformation tasks, including data cleansing, aggregation, enrichment, and normalization, using MS Fabric and related technologies. · Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving performance issues, data quality problems, and other technical challenges. · Implement best practices for data governance, data security, and data privacy within the MS Fabric environment. · Strong SQL, Python, PySpark knowledge · DP-600 Certified.
