About the role
As a BI Developer, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Utilize DAX studio for evaluating DAX calculations, VPAQ metrics analysis, and monitoring queries running against the dataset. - Use Tabular editor for OLS, updating RLS logic in the live model, creating empty partitions, and employing BPA analyzer. - Deploy solutions using ALM tool kit. - Manually refresh tables and partitions using TMSL/XLMA endpoint. - Possess a strong understanding of advanced DAX functions for handling complex calculations. - Optimize datasets through query folding, incremental refresh policy, and strategic partitioning. - Implement security measures using a combination of RLS & OLS. - Monitor capacity metrics dashboard to optimize computation, storage, and refresh time. - Utilize SQL proficiency for data validation, view/procedure optimization, and supporting real-time reports. - Develop paginated reports for external vendors using subscriptions and bursting. - Utilize Power Automate for enhancing API calls, bursting, and loading data to the database.
