Vice President - Cyber Security Operations

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and technically hands-on Head of Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations to lead the design, engineering, and operational excellence of our cybersecurity services portfolio. This role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity expert who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, building scalable security architectures, and driving innovation across multiple security domains. This is not a traditional managerial role; this position demands deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving capability, and the ability to architect and operationalize cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for both internal environments and client services.Job Description:- Lead the engineering, deployment, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions across enterprise and client environments.- Architect and enhance service offerings across SIEM, EDR/XDR, Network Security, IAM, OT Security, AI Security, and Security for AI systems.- Act as the technical authority for cybersecurity strategy, solution design, and complex incident resolution.- Drive integration of security technologies into cohesive, scalable, and automated service frameworks.- Establish best practices for security operations, threat detection, response, and continuous monitoring.- Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to design technically robust and competitive cybersecurity service offerings.- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and incorporate them into service portfolios.- Provide technical leadership during major incidents, escalations, and client engagements.- Mentor engineering teams on advanced cybersecurity concepts, tools, and architectures (without being a traditional people manager).Core Technical Expertise :Candidates must demonstrate deep hands-on expertise across multiple domains :- SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and SOC operations.- Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR platforms like CrowdStrike, Defender, Carbon Black).- Network Security (NGFW, NDR, Zero Trust architectures).- Identity & Access Management (IAM, PAM, SSO, Zero Trust Identity).- OT/ICS Security frameworks and tools.- Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP security architectures).- AI Security and Security for AI (model protection, adversarial risks, data security in AI pipelines).- Threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response.Profile Description :- 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to engineering and operations.- Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-scale cybersecurity solutions.- Strong hands-on experience across multiple security technologies and platforms.- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat landscapes, and attack methodologies.- Ability to translate complex technical challenges into scalable solutions.- Experience working in or with IT services / managed security services environments is highly preferred.- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.- Ability to work across cross-functional teams including sales, consulting, and delivery.- Experience building or scaling cybersecurity service offerings.- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent are a plus.Education:- UG: Any Graduate.Key Skills:- Cloud Security, Cyber Security, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Security Operations Center, IAM Security, EDR, SIEM.
