As an FPGA Engineering Intern at IMC, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will help you grow both personally and professionally. Role Overview: At IMC, Hardware Engineers are not just responsible for writing code and designing technology. They play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities, developing new technologies, and solving complex problems. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment, enhancing your knowledge of algorithm complexity, professional design, and coding. Key Responsibilities: - Learn what it means to be an Engineer by working on real projects - Enhance your knowledge of algorithm complexity, professional design, and writing fluent code - Build relationships across trading and technology teams - Gain proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, or other RTL programming languages - Participate in pair programming and code reviews - Participate in social activities and events - Have a mentor for project oversight and professional development Qualifications Required: - Student in (pen)ultimate year of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering - Strong analytical skills and desire to solve complicated problems programmatically - Proficient experience in Verilog, VHDL, or other RTL programming; additional software experience in Python, C++, or similar is a plus - Interest in financial markets is required, but no prior knowledge or experience is needed - Available for at least 9 weeks IMC is a global trading firm with a focus on technology and collaboration. Our internship stipend is INR 25,00,000/- per intern for 2 months, including an INR 5,00,000/- sign-on bonus.
