IT Manager

We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Manager / IT Lead to shape and execute our IT strategy, manage network infrastructure, and lead information security initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring seamless IT operations and robust data protection across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and contribute to the organization s overarching IT strategy aligned with business goals. Identify, evaluate, and finalize functional IT requirements in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Drive company-wide IT implementation programs alongside relevant partners. Oversee installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network appliances, systems , and infrastructure. Ensure the highest levels of network connectivity , uptime, and infrastructure performance. Manage and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network, and system operations. Identify opportunities for improvement and modernization of systems and tools. Develop and maintain IT policies, best practices, and system usage guidelines . Monitor network health, compliance with security policies , and perform preventive maintenance. Identify and mitigate IT security vulnerabilities across the organization s infrastructure. Create and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan aligned with current standards and threat landscapes. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats , technologies, and regulatory standards. Lead employee training programs to raise awareness of IT security and compliance. Support IT audit and certification processes as needed. Manage and report on IT budgets , resource allocation, and vendor relationships. Provide documentation, manuals, and internal knowledge bases for systems and processes. Collaborate on cross-functional projects and participate in tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Educational Requirements Bachelor s degree (B.Tech / BE), MCA, or advanced diploma in Computer Science , Information Systems , or Information Technology . 7+ years of experience in a core IT role within a tech-driven organization. Experience in biotech start-ups , bio-pharma , or pharma consulting is a strong advantage, though not mandatory.
