About the Role We are looking for a curious, detail-driven Product Enhancement Intern to join the AI-EnglishPro team. This is not a passive internship — you will work directly alongside the Product Manager and cross-functional teams (Content, AI/NLP, Engineering, Customer Success) to improve the product experience, identify enhancement opportunities, expand the question library, and help shape the product roadmap. What You Will Do Product Research & Enhancement Analyse current AI-EnglishPro assessment flow and identify UX gaps, question quality issues, and scoring inconsistencies Benchmark AI-EnglishPro against competing English assessment tools (Versant, Pearson, IELTS Indicator, etc.) and document feature gaps Assist in defining product enhancement requirements and writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories Participate in sprint planning and product review sessions, contributing observations and suggestions Content & Assessment Quality Research and propose new question types aligned to CEFR levels (Pre A1 to C2) across Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading modules Review existing question bank for language accuracy, bias, difficulty calibration, and workplace relevance Draft new assessment items — email writing prompts, listening passages, reading comprehension scenarios — for different role profiles (BPO, IT, BFSI, Telecom, Customer Support) Work with IO Psychologists and linguists to ensure psychometric quality of new content User Experience & Reporting Collect and analyze candidate and recruiter feedback on the AI-EnglishPro platform Map pain points in the current assessment and report-reading experience Assist in designing improved recruiter-facing dashboards, score interpretation guides, and candidate feedback templates Support creation of help documentation, release notes, and product walkthroughs Data & Insights Analyse assessment completion rates, score distributions, and drop-off points across assessment modules Identify patterns in candidate performance data across industries and role types Prepare structured insights reports for the Product and Customer Success teams Competitive & Market Intelligence Track industry trends in AI-based language assessment, CEFR developments, and NLP advancements Maintain a competitive intelligence tracker and present monthly updates to the product team Who We Are Looking For Must Have Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in English Literature, Linguistics, Psychology Strong command of the English language — written and spoken (C1 or above preferred) Analytical mindset — comfortable working with data, spotting patterns, and drawing conclusions Ability to write clearly and precisely: requirements, reports, and user stories Proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take ownership Good to Have Basic understanding of CEFR framework or formal English language assessment Exposure to product management tools — Jira, Confluence, Notion, Miro, or similar Familiarity with NLP concepts — sentiment analysis, text classification, grammar evaluation, speech processing Experience using data tools — Excel, Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic analysis) Prior internship or project experience in EdTech, HRTech, SaaS, or language learning Personality Fit You notice things others don't — a typo, a broken flow, an off-tone question prompt You can put yourself in the shoes of a candidate taking a 40-minute English assessment and a recruiter interpreting their CEFR score You enjoy working across teams — designers, engineers, content writers, data analysts You're not afraid to ask "why does this work this way?"
