Civil Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Civil Engineer to design, develop, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, and drainage systems Prepare project estimates, budgets, and timelines Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines Review and approve designs, drawings, and technical documentation Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders Monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues on-site Perform quality control checks and ensure project specifications are met Prepare reports, project documentation, and status updates for management Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field 25+ years of relevant experience (can be adjusted based on role level) Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar tools) Understanding of local building regulations and codes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Skills/Qualifications BE, Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred ) Experience in project management or site supervision Knowledge of sustainable construction practices Certification or license (if required by region) Familiarity with project management tools and software Work Environment Combination of office-based design work and on-site project supervision May require travel to project locations
