Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities: Design & Development: Participate in the design and development of mechanical components, products, tools, or systems from concept to completion. Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor) for 3D modeling, detailed 2D drafting, and assembly creation. Contribute to the selection of appropriate materials and manufacturing processes. Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations (e.g., stress, strain, kinematics, fluid dynamics) to validate designs and predict performance. Conduct basic simulations (e.g., FEA - Finite Element Analysis) to analyze design behavior and identify potential issues. Prototyping & Testing: Assist in the development and fabrication of prototypes. Participate in testing and validation of mechanical designs, analyzing test data, and proposing design modifications. Production Support & Optimization: Provide technical support to the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are efficiently produced. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement in manufacturing. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during production or assembly. Quality Assurance & Standards: Ensure all designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME), safety regulations, and quality requirements. Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and reports. Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, production staff, quality control, and supply chain. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is beneficial for local team interaction and understanding instructions. Good English proficiency is essential for technical documentation, design reviews, and broader professional communication.
