About the role
Job Description The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing, governing, and evolving large-scale enterprise solutions leveraging Java-based platforms, Microservices, MongoDB, Kafka-based event streaming, and Big Data ecosystems, with a strong focus on product building and productization of enterprise platforms. Exposure to Generative AI capabilities and modern AI-driven architectures is expected to support emerging business needs. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product managers, delivery teams, and leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures aligned with business and product strategy. Technical Skills & Expertise Core Technologies Strong hands-on expertise in Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs Microservices architecture design, decomposition, service mesh, API gateways, event-driven patterns MongoDB: schema design, sharding, replication, indexing, performance tuning, and aggregation pipelines Kafka: exposure to messaging/queueing patterns, producer-consumer design, topic & partition strategy, and event-driven integration Cloud Platforms: GCP/AWS/Azure (architecture & deployment) DevOps & Platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Product Building & Engineering Proven experience in building enterprise products from 0 to 1 and scaling them to maturity Strong understanding of product lifecycle, MVP design, feature roadmaps, and platform thinking Experience converting business problems into reusable, multi-tenant product capabilities Familiarity with product telemetry, usage analytics, and continuous feedback loops Architecture & Governance Enterprise integration patterns (including queue-based, pub-sub, and event-driven patterns using Kafka) System scalability, performance, and resiliency design Security-by-design and compliance (enterprise standards) Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments Good to Have Generative AI Experience Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc.) RAG architectures, Vector Databases (Pinecone, FAISS, OpenSearch, etc.) Frameworks & tools: LangChain, LangGraph, Agentic AI frameworks Prompt engineering, orchestration, and AI governance practices Experience designing enterprise-grade AI agents, assistants, and automation workflows Roles & Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities Own enterprise architecture vision, standards, and reference architectures aligned with business and product strategy Translate business goals into scalable, secure, and cost-optimized technology blueprints Architect large-scale solutions leveraging Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MongoDB, and Kafka-based event-driven patterns Govern architecture decisions across multiple teams and programs; evaluate tradeoffs across scalability, performance, cost, security, and time-to-market Drive modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native platforms on GCP, containerized with Docker and Kubernetes Partner with Product Management to shape technical vision, roadmap, and productization of enterprise platforms Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards; embed security-by-design principles Mentor architects, tech leads, and senior engineers; guide technical decision-making across teams Support presales, RFP responses, SOW design, and effort estimations as needed
