Analyst(Data/ Business)

You will be joining Wissen Technology in Mumbai as an Analyst SQL, Data Quality & Data Mapping within the Data & Analytics Group (DAG). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and reliable data across investment management platforms by reviewing, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues. You will collaborate with various teams to identify root causes of data issues, implement corrective actions, manage data integration, define data quality rules, and conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Review, analyze, and resolve data quality issues across the Investment Management (IM) data architecture. - Collaborate with data owners and cross-functional teams to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions. - Manage the onboarding and integration of data from various internal and external sources into the central data repository. - Partner with data owners and delegates to define and implement data quality (DQ) rules; collaborate with IT to enhance DQ controls. - Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, data flows, and usage to identify opportunities for re-engineering and efficiency improvements. - Engage with business stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and address data-related requirements and challenges. - Document detailed business requirements and use cases for data-centric projects. - Oversee change control processes and actively support user acceptance testing (UAT). - Proactively identify, track, and escalate data-related issues to ensure timely resolution. - Contribute to various strategic initiatives led by the Data & Analytics Group (DAG). Key Qualifications: - Strong domain knowledge of investment banking and financial data. - 4-10 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in investment or asset management. - Hands-on experience in data analysis and profiling using SQL is essential. - Working knowledge of coding; familiarity with Python is a plus. - Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
