Manager-Machine Learning

As a part of Moody's Ratings' AI Analytics group, you will be responsible for developing advanced machine learning (ML) and generative AI solutions for high-profile data science initiatives. Your role will involve leading and overseeing teams of MLOps and cloud system engineers to ensure the seamless integration and operation of AI and cloud infrastructure. Here are the key responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of MLOps engineers and cloud system engineers, aligning them with strategic AI initiatives. - Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud and ML infrastructure on AWS. - Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management. - Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure provisioning, model deployment, and security compliance. - Drive continuous improvement in operational processes through automation and infrastructure-as-code tools. - Optimize the costs of cloud resources while ensuring optimal performance of AI solutions. - Foster a culture of teamwork, openness, and innovation within and across teams. - Mentor and develop team members, promoting growth and skill enhancement. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong expertise in AWS services and proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration technologies. - Knowledge of ML/AI infrastructure and adherence to security best practices. - Proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex technical projects. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - 7+ years of experience in deploying and managing large-scale machine learning and generative AI applications. - Experience with Microsoft Azure services. - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty).
