Rust Developer (Fresher/Intern) (Surat)

Position: Rust Developer Experience: Fresher (0-1 Year) Employment Type: Full-Time Internship / Trainee Location: Surat, Gujarat (Onsite) About VideoSDK Role Overview We are looking for passionate and curious Freshers who want to build high-performance backend systems using Rust. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy systems programming, problem-solving, and learning contemporary backend technologies while working on real-world products used by developers globally. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend services using Rust. - Build scalable APIs and microservices for real-time communication products. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. - Learn and work with distributed systems and high-concurrency applications. Required Skills - Valuable understanding of Rust fundamentals, ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes. - Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. - Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and System Design concepts. - Knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, and client-server architecture. - Familiarity with Git and version control systems. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Good to Have - Knowledge of asynchronous programming concepts. - Understanding of multithreading and concurrency. - Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. - Exposure to Linux, Docker, or cloud platforms. - Personal projects, internships, or contributions to open-source projects using Rust.
