As a Backend Software Developer for ShopVue Cloud, your role involves designing, building, and operating microservice-based systems using .NET Core. You will focus on creating reliable and observable services by implementing event sourcing, containerization, and modern deployment practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and operate scalable microservices using .NET Core and C#. - Apply domain-driven design principles and implement event sourcing and CQRS for modeling domain events and workflows. - Define and implement REST APIs, as well as collaborate on integration contracts. - Containerize services with Docker, create optimized images, and integrate containers into CI/CD and orchestration platforms (preferably Kubernetes). - Utilize Dapr to simplify pub/sub, state management, bindings, and resiliency patterns. - Implement observability and resilience through structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, retries, and alerting. - Ensure data consistency across services and implement sagas or compensating actions when necessary. - Write automated unit, integration, and contract tests, and provide support for performance and load testing. - Take part in architecture and design reviews, mentor colleagues, and enhance deployment practices. - Adhere to Git best practices, including branching strategies, feature branches, pull requests, and CI integration. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in designing microservice architectures and applying domain-driven design. - Hands-on experience with event sourcing, CQRS, and familiarity with event stores or streaming platforms like RabbitMQ. - Practical experience with Dapr, containerized applications (Docker), and familiarity with Kubernetes. - Strong skills in SQL, NoSQL databases, and distributed data patterns. - Experience in designing reliable APIs and integration patterns. - Strong testing discipline and experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Previous involvement with MES, industrial, or SaaS products is highly desirable. Please note that the job is remote and requires a minimum of 4+ years of experience in building backend systems with .NET Core in a production environment.
