As an Infrastructure Architect at Kyndryl, you play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the company and its clients. Your responsibilities include: - Participating and leading architecture workshops with technical teams from AWS enterprise customers and partners to provide unique solutions tailored to individual needs - Leading the development of CloudFormation templates, Chef cookbooks, and scripts for automating and deploying AWS resources and configuration changes - Collaborating on building utilities and tools for internal use to operate safely and efficiently at scale - Assisting customers in architecting advanced cloud-based solutions on AWS and designing migration strategies from data centers to the cloud - Conducting periodic architecture reviews to enhance application performance and cost optimization - Documenting the technical framework and workflow of the architecture - Implementing immutable infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and CloudFormation - Leading DevSecOps implementation projects and setting up CI/CD pipelines, infra-automation, and monitoring tools - Implementing source code management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery using tools like AWS DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, and Chef - Setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines leveraging AWS native services or traditional DevOps tools - Demonstrating strong skills in implementing pipelines and integrating tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and other equivalent tools - Automating infrastructure and platform deployments using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, Anthos Config Management, and GCVE automation frameworks In addition to the technical responsibilities, as a Kyndryl employee, you are encouraged to have a growth mindset, prioritize customer success, and work inclusively with others. To excel in this role, you should have: - Solid understanding of Data Center systems, storage, networking, security, applications, and databases - Experience in technical architect roles using public cloud IaaS, PaaS platforms (primarily GCP and AWS) - Hands-on experience in cloud-native architecture design and implementation for distributed, fault-tolerant enterprise applications - Proficiency in infrastructure design on GCP/AWS, cloud security, Linux, Windows, scripting languages, and build tools - Expertise in configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and CI/CD pipelines Preferred qualifications include certifications in GCP and AWS, along with experience in project management software and excellent communication skills.
