IT Network Security Engineer (Kakkanad)

Your Responsibilities Administration, management and troubleshooting of the security and network infrastructure including tools and platforms available to manage the service, furthermore continuous development, and optimization of the infrastructure landscape. Responsible for operations (2nd and 3rd level support) of the infrastructure in compliance with defined SLAs. Escalate incidents and/or problems to Senior Engineer for further support and involve them on time. support in the development of challenging concepts for service quality, network security and their availability, ensure creation and continuous revision of documentations to ease service operations and deliver regular service availability and delivery reports to the management. Conduct regular analysis and make recommendations for infrastructure. Plan changes to IT solutions, identify and mitigate risks during implementation and implement service requests Plan, Build, and Manage Next -Gen Firewalls, SD -WAN, remote access solution, and network technologies. Actively contributing to the technological and procedural development of the mispa Network and Security Operations Center Services and Network and Security Automation Services. Involve in active knowledge transfer and training programs for junior team members to equip them for the seamless support on existing and current technologies. Requirements Your Profile Proven work experience as a System Network | Security Engineer and with following network | security technologies and with system, and management monitoring tools. Firewall Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Palo, Alto, Checkpoint Preferred to have experience in Panorama Basic Knowledge of various tools like SIEM, SSL, Packet Analysis, HIPS/NIPS, Network Monitoring tools etc. Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols, furthermore advanced level troubleshooting skills on systems with diverse Tools. Proficient skill in Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems; Scripting and shell languages. As part of Managed Service team, ready to work with 24/7 shift operation. Minimum 3 -10 years of work experience with network | security technologies and with system, and management monitoring tools. Bachelors degree in Technology or in Computer Science. Problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure, Independent, structured approach, and should have a reliable way of working. Preferred to have minimum Professional Level and/or expert level certification. Should have willingness to upgrade oneself and learn new skills and should be very good with communication skills (both written and verbal) Knowledge in Linux and Scripting will be preferred.
