Senior Manual Test Analyst

As a Senior QA Engineer at VML Enterprise Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving quality within the dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include a combination of manual testing expertise and robust automation skills. Here's what you can expect in this role: Role Overview: You will be a key member of an Agile team, primarily focused on testing eCommerce solutions. Your role will involve preparing test cases and test plans, executing both manual and automated tests, and closely collaborating with developers using CI/CD processes and tooling. Key Responsibilities: - Champion a 'shift-left' approach by participating in requirements analysis and design reviews. - Collaborate with team members to define test strategies and act as a quality advocate. - Provide test estimates, contribute to project planning, and independently analyze requirements to design thorough test cases. - Perform System Testing, System Integration Testing, and targeted exploratory testing. - Identify, document, and track defects, executing and reporting on automated and manual test suites. - Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. - Automate E2E, API, and backend tests and drive continuous improvement in automation reliability. - Utilize strong backend testing skills, including SQL querying and server log analysis. - Contribute to non-functional testing, such as compatibility and accessibility. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record of QA advocacy and focus on fostering quality. - Experience testing complex, transactional e-commerce websites. - Balance of manual testing expertise with strong automation skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments. - Expertise in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD tools, and API testing. - Knowledge of web technologies and Agile methodologies. - Innovative mindset and willingness to adopt new technologies like AI.
