Job Description Lead IT Administrator Job Location: Kolkata - Beckbagan (Work From Office) Experience Required: 34 years of relevant IT Administration (preferred Team Leadership experience of 2 years) Employment Type: Full-Time Qualification: Any Graduate (Preferred in Computer Science, IT) Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, AWS/Azure, ITIL, or CISSP will be an added advantage. Joining: Immediate (Max 15-day Notice) Key Responsibilities 1. Infrastructure Monitoring & Uptime Management - Monitor business uptime, network stability, servers, internet, and cloud services. - Ensure proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and service disruptions. - Mentor Team to manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems. - Team Leadership & Service Delivery - Lead the IT Administration team, ensuring proper allocation and closure of incident/service tickets within the defined TAT. - Conduct periodic performance reviews, audits, and training sessions to improve IT team productivity and quality assurance. - Provide guidance on escalated L3 technical issues and day-to-day bottlenecks. - Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery - Manage data lifecycle processes, including backup, archival, and recovery strategies. - Responsible for implementing and testing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes. - Vendor & Cost Management - Oversee IT vendor management, procurement and financial settlement of service providers, hardware, software vendors and cloud partners. - Optimize technology and cloud service costs while ensuring service quality. - Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Enhancement - Implement robust online infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks. - Conduct risk assessments, audits, and periodic security reviews. - Ensure compliance with IT security and organizational policies. - Asset & Knowledge Management - Ensure accurate IT Asset Management protocols are implemented by the IT Team for all organizational assets. - Conduct IT awareness and technology training programs for employees. - Coordinate with organizational stakeholders on the improvement and adoption of new technologies. Key Skills & Competencies - Solid expertise in Windows/Linux server administration, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), with knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and ITSM tools. - Hands-on experience and practical knowledge in Incident management, IT policy implementations, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices. - Leadership abilities to manage and mentor IT support/admin teams. - Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation management at L3 level. - Knowledge of IT compliance, audits, and governance. - Excellent vendor negotiation and cost optimization skills. .
