Innovation Manager, Data Science

As a member of Beghou Consulting, you will be part of a team that has been a trusted adviser to life science firms for over 30 years. Combining strategic consulting services with proprietary technology, we develop custom, data-driven solutions to elevate commercial operations for our clients. Dedicated to client service, we offer a full suite of consulting and technology services rooted in advanced analytics to enhance commercial operations and boost sales performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing AI/ML pipelines to address real-world challenges in life sciences such as territory alignment, rep scheduling, patient segmentation, and incentive compensation optimization. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex life sciences challenges into AI-driven innovations. - Leading efforts in data ingestion, feature engineering, and model development across structured and unstructured data sources. - Building and deploying scalable AI services and LLM-based copilots for various teams within life sciences companies. - Implementing GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks for commercial automation. - Conducting technical reviews and providing mentoring to junior AI team members. - Collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy models on AWS/Azure. - Presenting technical concepts and outcomes to internal stakeholders and client teams. To excel in this role, you should have: - 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a client-facing or consulting role. - Proficiency in Python and related libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face). - Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production. - Strong understanding of MLOps tools and practices like MLflow, Docker, Git, and CI/CD. - Exposure to LLMs, transformers, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques. - Familiarity with cloud environments, with preference given to experience with AWS, Azure, and Databricks. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
