Java Apps Dev Sr. Programmer Anlyst

As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish new or revised applications systems and programs. - Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation while providing user and operational support. - Utilize specialty knowledge to analyze complex problems, evaluate business and system processes, and industry standards. - Recommend security measures post implementation to ensure successful system design and functionality. - Consult with users/clients and technology groups, recommend advanced programming solutions, and assist customer exposure systems. - Ensure essential procedures are followed, define operating standards, and processes. - Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members, operating with autonomy and independence of judgment. - Deliver high-quality software programs, participate in design reviews, program specifications, and requirement discussions. - Collaborate with stakeholders, teams in different time zones, technology groups, and vendors to drive a standard framework for development processes. - Assess risk in business decisions with consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: - 8+ years of relevant experience. - Experience in systems analysis, programming of software applications, and managing successful projects. - Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods. - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to changes. - Good understanding of core JAVA/J2EE, REST, micro services, web services, and Spring framework. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, Harness, Jenkins, etc. - Proficiency in Databases like Oracle, non-sql database technologies like MongoDB. - Experience in ECS/Docker and OpenShift is a plus. - Flexibility to adjust priorities quickly.
