Python Developer

You will be joining a dynamic team as a Python Developer at a leading independent electrical wholesaler in Australia. As part of the transition to an in-house development team, you will have the opportunity to shape the team and products with your influence. The role involves developing and maintaining Python applications for a variety of projects, including web applications and data processing with future plans to incorporate AI/ML technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Python applications following best practices and coding standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills in solving unstructured problems. - Mentor other team members. - Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code. - Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and reliability. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Stay updated with the latest Python technologies and industry trends. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development, with a desire to take on more responsibility. - Strong proficiency in Python programming language and data structures. - Extensive hands-on experience with Python Frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or others. - Experience with relational databases and understanding of database design. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Willingness to work in the office in Pune, India (5 days a week). - Amenable to work from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST.
