Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Experience: 4–6 Years Qualification: B.Tech (CS/IT) / MCA Location: Noida and Bangalore Role Summary NEC Corporation of India Ltd. is looking for a skilled ServiceNow Engineer with strong expertise in Now Assist, App Engine workflow automation, and Generative/Agentic AI integrations . The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow platform capabilities while working closely with cross-functional teams. Must-Have Skills ServiceNow Development Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and modules. Hands-on experience with ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SecOps, and App Engine (custom applications). Strong knowledge of development using templates and Generative / Agentic AI. Now Assist & App Engine Mandatory experience in ServiceNow Now Assist . Expertise in App Engine workflow automation and flow development. Platform Configuration Configure and manage workflows, UI policies, business rules, UI actions, and forms across ServiceNow modules. Scripting Proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side). Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Scripts, and OpenAI integrations for automation. Integration Integrate ServiceNow with external systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, third-party tools , and ITSM systems. Experience with REST, SOAP APIs , and OpenAI-based integrations. Troubleshooting & Support Provide ongoing platform support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Ensure continuous service availability and system stability. Security & Performance Implement best practices for performance optimization and platform security. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards. Upgrades & Patching Support ServiceNow version upgrades and patching activities with minimal downtime. Documentation Prepare and maintain technical documentation for custom apps, workflows, and integrations. Provide knowledge transfer and support to team members. Learning & Adaptability Willingness to quickly learn new technologies and tools as required by project needs. Good-to-Have Skills Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies. Experience with ServiceNow Studio, App Engine, and other development tools. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB. Expertise in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and platform setup. Experience with Performance Analytics, reports, and dashboards. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow. Familiarity with Update Sets and version control best practices. Responsibilities Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Ensure high-quality deliverables with strong attention to detail. Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Mentor and guide junior developers or consultants. Take full ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
