Experience - 7 to 14 Yrs Location - Gurgaon Work Mode - Working from Office Notice - Immediate to 15 Days Key Responsibilities :- We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET to design, build, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks across web and API layers. The ideal candidate is a strong Java programmer with hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright, is comfortable working with cloud infrastructure on AWS, can validate data using SQL, and is proactive in applying modern AI-assisted (agentic AI) tools to accelerate testing and development workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and industry best practices (Page Object Model, modular libraries, reusable components). Build and execute automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for cross-browser web and API test automation. Write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases using TestNG / JUnit, integrated with BDD tools such as Cucumber / Gherkin. Validate application data integrity through SQL queries, joins, and back-end data validation. Deploy, configure, and manage test infrastructure/environments on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and support automation pipelines via CodePipeline. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for continuous testing and delivery. Leverage agentic AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate test script generation, debugging, and code review. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently. Participate in sprint ceremonies, communicate testing status clearly, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, coding standards, and automation strategy. Skill Area Details / Expectations Java Strong OOP concepts, Collections framework, Multithreading, and experience building/using automation frameworks. Selenium WebDriver Page Object Model (POM), locator strategies (XPath/CSS), TestNG / JUnit for test execution and reporting. Playwright Cross-browser automation and API test automation experience. AWS Working knowledge of EC2, S3, Lambda, and Code Pipeline for test environment setup and CI/CD support. SQL Writing queries, using joins, and performing back-end data validation. Hands-On Coding Skills Ability to write, debug, and review automation code live; strong fundamentals over tool familiarity alone.
