Must Have Role: Senior Test and Automation Engineer Job Description: Looking for a Senior Test & Automation Engineer to lead our quality engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and ensuring seamless API contract testing within our Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. You will bridge the gap between development and production by executing comprehensive cross-browser and cross-device regression suites while maintaining a rigorous > 98% pass rate. Beyond automation, you will be expected to handle specialized validation tasks, including compliance (IQ/OQ/PQ) and audit trail verification, ensuring our platforms are secure, performant, and audit-ready at all times. Roles & Responsibilities • Automation Framework Engineering: Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to ensure high code coverage and reliability. • CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automated test suites and API contract tests into the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality feedback. • API & Performance Validation: Conduct rigorous API testing using Postman or RestAssured and execute performance/load testing via JMeter or LoadRunner to identify system bottlenecks. • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Execute compliance validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and perform audit trail verifications to ensure the platform meets regulatory standards. • Test Design & Traceability: Design comprehensive test cases and maintain end-to-end traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are validated. • Regression & Vulnerability Scanning: Manage cross-browser and cross-device regression suites and conduct vulnerability scans to maintain a > 98% pass rate. • Defect Management: Proactively identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed trend analysis and reporting for stakeholder review. • Security Testing Basics: Incorporate foundational security testing and vulnerability assessment into the standard QA lifecycle. • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure that challenges, risks, and quality issues faced by the technical team are accurately conveyed to all internal and external stakeholders. • Project Governance: Maintain a well-documented, process-driven testing practice that is anytime audit-ready, contributing to project planning and risk mitigation. • Continuous Excellence: Promote a culture of quality, providing technical analysis of deliverables including designs and specifications to ensure feasibility and testability. Key Skills: Automation Framework Development (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright), API Testing (Postman/RestAssured), Jenkins CI/CD Integration, Performance Testing (JMeter/LoadRunner), and Compliance Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ). Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. ISTQB or similar QA certifications are highly desirable. Experience: 4+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing, with a strong emphasis on full-stack quality assurance and CI/CD pipeline integration.
