Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and microservices using Golang and Python. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Golang and Python. - Building scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product). - Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Participating in code reviews and technical discussions. - Working with cloud platforms and Containerized environment. Your strong hands-on experience in Golang and Python, solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design, experience in building REST APIs and microservices architecture, familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB, experience with Docker, Kubernetes, knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and understanding of CI/CD pipelines will be crucial for success in this role. Preferred skills include experience with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, exposure to distributed systems and event-driven architecture, knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and prior experience in product-based companies. You should hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and possess strong problem-solving skills, good communication and collaboration abilities, as well as an ownership mindset and proactive attitude.
