Senior Quality Analyst (Tester)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Analyst (Tester) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and testing within the banking, home loan, or insurance domains. You will be responsible for managing and executing both manual and automated testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Test Management: Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance and mentorship Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests to ensure software quality Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and functional specifications Quality Assurance: Perform and manage functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Validate data integrity and accuracy in banking, home loan, and insurance applications Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Automation: Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites Identify opportunities for automation and improve testing efficiency Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports and documentation Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders Provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives SKILLS Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills Leadership and team management skills EDUCATION Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field ISTQB advanced level certification or equivalent is a plus EXPERIENCE 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance and testing. Proven experience in banking, home loans or insurance domains.
