Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with over 13 years of experience. The Senior Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, implementing and monitoring Oracle RAC, administering Data Guard, performing RMAN backup and recovery tasks, and tuning database performance. The incumbent will also address issues related to production support and ensure database security and reliability in a high-availability environment. Qualifications Expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including performance tuning and optimization. Comprehensive knowledge of Database Administration and Replication methodologies. Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving database-related issues. Experience in implementing and maintaining Database Security and adhering to industry best practices. Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN for backup and recovery operations. Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure production support environments. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
