Draughtsman - Mechanical

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD (and other CAD tools if required). Develop detailed mechanical component and assembly drawings as per specifications. Modify and update existing drawings based on engineering revisions or feedback. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and internal quality requirements. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and technical details. Maintain drawing records, project documentation, and drawing version control. A Draughtsman Mechanical is responsible for developing 2D drawings of design specifications for mechanical equipment and components. The individual selects and uses the appropriate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and equipment for the purpose, depending on the type and complexity of the drawing functions to be carried out. The person collaborates with engineers, production technicians and clients to identify design problems and develop effective solutions.
