Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and analyze feedback to drive system improvements

• Diagnose, resolve, and document technical issues within secure environments

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET or C# within the .NET Framework

• Execute and document software R&D projects and enhancements

• Implement modern technologies and frameworks to optimize system performance and reliability

• Develop and maintain robust database solutions using SQL or other relational databases

• Conduct thorough unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) to ensure code quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to deliver high-quality software solutions

• Required Skills and Experience

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain TS/SCI)

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)

• 5+ years of experience in VB.NET or C#.NET development, including .NET Framework

• Strong SQL or relational database expertise

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest

• Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 or Windows Server environments

• Familiarity with Windows desktop application development

• Experience with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

• Background in Agile development environments

• Analytical and mathematical problem-solving skills

• C++ experience is a plus

• Security+ certification or advanced STEM degree preferred
