About the Role
Join a high-impact team driving digital transformation for a leading client by consolidating legacy CIS systems into a unified SAP IS-U environment. As a Full Stack Java Developer III, you’ll play a critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining custom microservices on Azure, delivering essential integrations across complex enterprise systems. This is a fully remote, hands-on development role ideal for passionate technologists eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java microservices to Azure, focusing on reliability, security, and performance

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support seamless system integrations

Collaborate closely with analysts, project managers, and consultants in an agile team environment, translating business requirements into technical solutions

Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to SOLID principles and secure coding standards

Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, continually optimizing solutions for efficiency and scalability

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of full-stack application development with recent, direct hands-on coding experience

Advanced expertise in Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, SQL, and API development

Strong background in Azure, microservices, and secure software design
-
Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proven problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills
-
Experience with Micronaut, ASP.NET Core, and large-scale enterprise systems

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or SAFe methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira

Prior work in the Electric or Gas Utilities industry
