About the Role

Join a high-impact team driving digital transformation for a leading client by consolidating legacy CIS systems into a unified SAP IS-U environment. As a Full Stack Java Developer III, you’ll play a critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining custom microservices on Azure, delivering essential integrations across complex enterprise systems. This is a fully remote, hands-on development role ideal for passionate technologists eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java microservices to Azure, focusing on reliability, security, and performance

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support seamless system integrations

  • Collaborate closely with analysts, project managers, and consultants in an agile team environment, translating business requirements into technical solutions

  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to SOLID principles and secure coding standards

  • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, continually optimizing solutions for efficiency and scalability

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 7+ years of full-stack application development with recent, direct hands-on coding experience

  • Advanced expertise in Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, SQL, and API development

  • Strong background in Azure, microservices, and secure software design

  • Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proven problem-solving abilities

  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Micronaut, ASP.NET Core, and large-scale enterprise systems

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or SAFe methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira

  • Prior work in the Electric or Gas Utilities industry
