Fullstack Developer – Senior Data Platform Engineer (Python, Databricks, React) Location: Onsite – Spring, TX | Contract: 12 months | Job Type: C2C

About the Role

Join a high-impact team shaping a cutting-edge Global Trading analytics platform that powers critical decisions for trading and commercial teams. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Python, Databricks, and React to design and deliver robust data solutions and insightful dashboards. You’ll work onsite in Spring, TX, closely collaborating with traders, analysts, and IT teams to solve complex data challenges and drive real business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines in Python using Databricks

• Create, optimize, and manage data models and queries within Snowflake and SQL

• Build and enhance internal analytics dashboards using React for real-time trading and logistics insights

• Integrate React front-end applications with backend APIs and data services

• Monitor and ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across the platform

• Work cross-functionally with trading, analytics, and product teams to deliver stakeholder-driven solutions

• Required Skills and Experience

• Senior-level proficiency in Python for data processing and ETL workflows

• Hands-on experience with Databricks / Spark

• Advanced skills developing React applications for analytics or data-heavy use cases

• Strong SQL abilities with proven experience in Snowflake or similar data platforms

• Demonstrated experience supporting analytics-driven, data-intensive applications

• Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and stakeholder-focused environments

• Preferred Skills

• Experience in trading, commodities, energy, or financial data platforms

• Familiarity with Azure (AWS or GCP experience also valued)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud data architectures
