Grafana Dashboard Developer (Contract) Location: Remote | Duration: 18 Months

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Grafana dashboards that turn complex data into actionable insights

• Build real-time, multi-panel dashboards by integrating sources such as Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and Kusto

• Rapidly prototype and iterate dashboards in response to evolving user requirements

• Translate user stories into intuitive, production-ready visualizations and dashboards

• Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability

• Partner with engineers and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions

• Establish and follow best practices for dashboard design, structure, and maintainability

• Required Skills and Experience

• 2–5 years of proven, hands-on Grafana dashboard development in production environments

• Expertise in building complex, multi-panel dashboards from the ground up

• Advanced skills in data visualization and data storytelling

• Experience working with real-time data and integrating multiple data sources

• Proficiency in query languages such as KQL, PromQL, or SQL

• Track record of delivering dashboards end-to-end from requirements gathering to deployment

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and business teams

• Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Managed Grafana or cloud-based observability platforms

• Familiarity with SLI/SLO dashboards, telemetry, and monitoring systems

• Exposure to CI/CD or dashboards-as-code frameworks
