Power Platform & Data Visualization Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite with limited flexibility) Type: W2 Contract (Strong potential for extension)

About the Role

As a Power Platform & Data Visualization Developer, you’ll bridge business needs and technical innovation—owning solutions end-to-end, from requirements gathering to delivery and continued support. This role offers direct exposure to business stakeholders and the chance to make a tangible difference in improving workflows and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain Tableau (and/or Power BI) dashboards, ensuring data sources are current and accurate

• Design, develop, and support Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly solutions

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing tools, workflows, and dashboards—stabilizing and scaling business-critical processes

• Optimize data queries and connections to support robust reporting and automation

• Balance new solution builds with complex enhancements to existing business tools

• Required Skills and Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate; Dataverse exposure preferred)

• Proven expertise in dashboarding, preferably with Tableau

• Strong capability in both low-code development and data visualization

• Demonstrated experience supporting and improving existing solutions (debugging, enhancing, stabilizing)

• Working knowledge of SQL and data concepts (querying, debugging, basic optimization)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-technical stakeholders

• Preferred Skills

• Experience connecting to modern data platforms or warehouses

• Familiarity with multiple data sources (databases, flat files, etc.)

• Understanding of scalable solution design, especially in Dataverse environments
