About the role
Power Platform & Data Visualization Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite with limited flexibility) Type: W2 Contract (Strong potential for extension)
About the Role
Join a dynamic internal engineering team focused on delivering impactful automation and reporting solutions across the organization. As a Power Platform & Data Visualization Developer, you’ll bridge business needs and technical innovation—owning solutions end-to-end, from requirements gathering to delivery and continued support. This role offers direct exposure to business stakeholders and the chance to make a tangible difference in improving workflows and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and maintain Tableau (and/or Power BI) dashboards, ensuring data sources are current and accurate

Design, develop, and support Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly solutions

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing tools, workflows, and dashboards—stabilizing and scaling business-critical processes

Optimize data queries and connections to support robust reporting and automation

Balance new solution builds with complex enhancements to existing business tools

Required Skills and Experience

2–5 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate; Dataverse exposure preferred)

Proven expertise in dashboarding, preferably with Tableau

Strong capability in both low-code development and data visualization

Demonstrated experience supporting and improving existing solutions (debugging, enhancing, stabilizing)

Working knowledge of SQL and data concepts (querying, debugging, basic optimization)

Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills

Experience connecting to modern data platforms or warehouses

Familiarity with multiple data sources (databases, flat files, etc.)

Understanding of scalable solution design, especially in Dataverse environments
