[Responsibilities]

• Design, develop, test, and debug software to deliver logical and mathematical solutions for business and mission needs
• Lead and coordinate software development projects from planning through deployment
• Apply software engineering standards, processes, and tools throughout the full development life cycle
• Analyze user requirements, system capabilities, and programming techniques to resolve complex challenges
• Correct program errors, document program development, and prepare comprehensive operating instructions
• Integrate simulation assets, C2 systems, and DIS/HLA gateways for robust training solutions
• Ensure all software meets quality and security standards

[Required Skills and Experience]

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline
• 15 years of experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java
• Hands-on experience with Gitlab or similar CI/CD tools
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience rapidly learning and applying new tools or languages
• Background in integrating new technologies for process optimization
• Expertise in designing and developing GUI-based applications
• Familiarity with live, virtual, and constructive simulation environments
